Meyer Turku, Mein Schiff 1 & 2, Cruise vessels

WatMan Engineering Ltd Oy delivered seawater reverse osmosis plants (SWRO) for shipyard Meyer Turku’s Mein Schiff 1 and 2 cruise vessels during years 2017-2018. Each unit had freshwater make-up capacity of 50 m3/h. Scope of delivery consisted seawater pre-filtration with multimedia filters, chemical dosing and 2-pass Reverse Osmosis stage with clean in place system.

Process automation and operation is designed to be fully independent. Process was designed according marine industry’s high standard regulations. Full process equipment was installed in steel skids, factory tested and delivered to shipyard. After installation WatMan commissioned plants in sea trial. After successful delivery, co-operation with Meyer Turku continues in future projects.
